Stop RePoly’s Plastic Factory in Moss Vale

RePoly (formerly Plasrefine) is appealing the NSW Independent Planning Commission’s (IPC) decision to reject their massive plastic processing factory in Moss Vale — a proposal that the IPC already deemed unacceptable.

STOP REPOLY Plastic Waste Factory

Southern Highlands Matters, represented by Samatha Wood is stepping up as a legal respondent in the NSW Land and Environment Court – defending the IPC’s decision with expert evidence and Southern Highlands community support. But legal action is expensive.  $180,000 is urgently needed to fund senior legal counsel, expert witnesses, and coordination of the full legal process — including barristers, expert witnesses and strategic coordination through the final hearing.

Why This Matters

They may have changed their name, but what RePoly represent remains the same! If approved, this would be one of the largest facilities of its kind in Australia. It’s located dangerously close to residential areas, schools, the Garvan Institute of Medical Research and Sydney’s drinking water catchment. If RePoly wins, it could set a precedent for future plastic infrastructure right across NSW and forever change the Southern Highlands. Top-tier legal representation has been secured, are tracking court developments are being tracked, evidence is being prepared and experts coordinated — but it cannot be done without urgent community backing.
